1. Who we are

This website is operated by Digital AssetOps to share the development of GOLDBOT, an experimental automated XAUUSD trading research project. We take your privacy seriously and aim to be transparent about the limited data we collect.

2. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with the site — for example, which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and which buttons are clicked. This helps us improve the website and measure interest in GoldBot.

Google Analytics collects information such as your IP address (usually anonymised at city level), browser type, device type, approximate location, pages visited, and events like button clicks. Google may also set cookies on your device.

Google Analytics is only loaded after you click “Accept analytics” in the cookie banner. If you choose “Essential only” or close the banner without deciding, no Google Analytics cookies or tracking requests are sent.

3. Kit email subscriptions

The “Follow Development” and early-access email forms on this site link to our email subscription service, Kit (formerly ConvertKit), at digital-assetops.kit.com/787ee2cdbe. When you subscribe, Kit collects and stores your email address on our behalf so we can send you GoldBot development updates.

We do not store email addresses on our own servers. Kit processes this data under its own privacy and security practices. We only use your email to share GoldBot research progress, roadmap updates, and occasional related announcements from Digital AssetOps.

You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email we send. If you have trouble unsubscribing, email us at privacy@digitalassetops.com.

4. What data we collect and why

• Analytics data: only with your consent, to measure site usage and improve the experience.
• Email address: only if you choose to subscribe via Kit, to send development updates.
• Consent preference: stored in your browser’s local storage so we can respect your choice on future visits.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Lawful basis for processing

Google Analytics: We process this data only with your consent. Google Analytics is not loaded until you click “Accept analytics” in the cookie banner, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.

GoldBot development emails: We send these only to people who voluntarily subscribe through Kit and confirm their email address. This is based on your consent, which you can withdraw by unsubscribing from any email we send.

6. How long data is kept

Your analytics consent preference is stored for up to 365 days, after which the banner will ask for your choice again. Google Analytics data is retained according to Google’s own data retention settings. Email addresses remain in Kit until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your record.

7. Withdrawing analytics consent

You can change or withdraw your analytics consent at any time by clicking the “Manage analytics cookies” link in the site footer. Selecting “Essential only” will immediately stop Google Analytics tracking and remove any analytics cookies already set.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Because analytics data is aggregated and email data is held by Kit, the fastest way to exercise these rights is to use the unsubscribe link in our emails or contact us directly at privacy@digitalassetops.com.

If you are in the United Kingdom, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you believe your data protection rights have been infringed. You can find out more at ico.org.uk.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the website or our data practices evolve. The latest version will always be available at this page, with the “Last updated” date shown at the top.
